Backflow Testing & Installation

Water that’s unsafe to drink or use in your home isn’t always discolored or foul-smelling. In the case of backflow, non-potable water mixes with potable water, making it appear clean and safe. This is why regular backflow inspections are a crucial part of home maintenance.

Residences whose main water supply connects to a municipal water supply, likely have a backflow prevention device installed. You are required by law to have this device tested regularly, so you are up to date on any problems that may be developing.  If problems are detected, the device must be repaired or replaced immediately. We’ll guide you through the backflow certification process with no stress on your part.

Steps for Backflow Certification:

  • Initial Inspection
  • Testing
  • Certification with the Municipality
  • Reinspection every 1 to 5 years
